Christmas tree hunting

This the first time in two years Ben and I haven't rushed to get our tree up a week before Christmas. I was all excited about going with my family to this tree farm that they love to go to every year. Unfortunately Ben had chouire practice that morning and we could make it(sad face). So we decided to make our own family tradition and just go tree hunting with the family. Our first family tradition! How exciting just me the boys and Ben our new little family. Ben and I live right next to this place called Hutton Settlement which is a home for children and use to be an orphanage back in the day. It is a really beautiful and creepy kind of place. Any how they had this program there that teaches kids how to start their own business and they were doing this by starting a tree farm. Perfect! We could walk the boys in the stroller across the street and pick up our tree. Just as we were getting ready to head out Grandma Pat and Auntie Rosie pop in! They were in town to pick up some friends at the airport so they tagged along for the adventure. We found the tree that would grace our living room. Not to big not to small and a wonderful smell!

Hilarious picture of carrying the tree on the stroller. I can honestly say that I have NEVER see that.
