Constant distraction
So I am sitting here writing on my blog while listening to my boys converse back and forth in their cribs. Not normally a bad thing but...They are supposed to be napping!!!
They are in this new phase were distractions keep them up and they are always looking for one. This is a troublesome thing since they always have a distraction nearby...their brother. This means it can take them up to an hour just to go to sleep. Not sure how to deal with this predicament so if anyone has ideas I would love to hear them.
Grandma Annie and Grandpa Dave surprised River and Terran last night with a little visit. We are alway so happy to see family from down south. After living away from family and only getting to see them once in a while makes you really appreciate them. On the family note, we are very excited for the boys first Thanks Giving! I am in charge of bringing a pie which I will honestly say I am alway nervis about because my little sister always brings her killer apple pie and I have to compete with that! I will probably be taking home an entire pie because everyone will want Apple pies:) Love you Shawna! So I would love to hear from you all on what kind of pie I should make; Cherry, Pumpkin, Pecan or Cheese cake. If you say apple you get a cyberspace smack:)
Over and out!

I know, I know, I should have started this blog about 7.5 months ago. There is no excuse other than that life has changed enormously for the better but change non the less.
River and Terran are now going on 8 months old and there is so much I could say about those 8 months but I am going to keep it simple and give you an idea of what they have done are doing and big mile stones in their lives.
Both got their first tooth on uncle Zach's birthday!! That was a long hard couple of weeks.
They love their dog Rupert. Every time Rupert barges into a room it means instant giggles and smiles. It can sometimes be inconvenient when I am trying to get the boys to eat because all the attention goes from eating to..."please lick my face please, please, please"(I want you all to know that I do not endorse the licking , but Rupert goes in for the kill every min. I am not looking.)
The Boy's love their aunt Marta's funny accent. They are alway entranced when she comes over.
Still not sleeping through the night this can mean that I get up 8 time in the night. I don't even know what a full night of sleep feels like anymore.
Places we have been in the last 8 months
The boys have travled all over the place, they even have passports! I didn't have my passport till I was 18. Here is a list of some of the places they have visited this summer and cheered their dad on in numerous races!
Thailand (in my belly)
Canada (Vancouver, Penticton)
Seattle
Troutdale
Hood River
Some of these places we went to more than once needless to say our boys know and love their car seats.
Their next big trip is Thanksgiving in Moscow. Only 2 hours away but by far their favorite place. This wonderfull town is filled with Grandmas, Grandpas, Auntie and Uncles, and all their Cousins. Hurray for family!!!
After that is Christmas and then...
Pucon Chile
Some Highlights
Vashion Island with Grandma Pat, Aunt Natalie, Aunt Rosiea and Grandpa Gary
Seaside Oregon
Apple Picking with Grandma and Grandpa Casebolt!
