Constant distraction

So I am sitting here writing on my blog while listening to my boys converse back and forth in their cribs. Not normally a bad thing but...They are supposed to be napping!!!

They are in this new phase were distractions keep them up and they are always looking for one. This is a troublesome thing since they always have a distraction nearby...their brother. This means it can take them up to an hour just to go to sleep. Not sure how to deal with this predicament so if anyone has ideas I would love to hear them.

Grandma Annie and Grandpa Dave surprised River and Terran last night with a little visit. We are alway so happy to see family from down south. After living away from family and only getting to see them once in a while makes you really appreciate them. On the family note, we are very excited for the boys first Thanks Giving! I am in charge of bringing a pie which I will honestly say I am alway nervis about because my little sister always brings her killer apple pie and I have to compete with that! I will probably be taking home an entire pie because everyone will want Apple pies:) Love you Shawna! So I would love to hear from you all on what kind of pie I should make; Cherry, Pumpkin, Pecan or Cheese cake. If you say apple you get a cyberspace smack:)

Over and out!

I think you should think outside the box and make a peanut butter pie. I would eat that for sure.

I also think you should link to http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com so people can know how to increase their metabolism after they eat pie.

Thanks for the compliment Big Sis but you know you are among the many gourmets in this family!! Besides I don't think Josh and I will be able to make it this year. (sniff) Headed down south. Miss you lots!

Bummer Shawna

We will miss you much:( But hay you don't just marry the guy. You marry the whole fam. I know you will have a great time. Get some down time while you have an eager grandma around.

Hey Jess! I'm so glad you have a blog now! Sometimes it feels like the fam up there may as well be in Siberia, we never see you!

Hmmm pie ideas...strawberry rhubarb? or maybe a pecan pie. Thanksgiving this year should be fun, hopefully Avalon stays in my belly for at least a couple more weeks, she's been threatening to come early and I'm NOT READY!!

Can you come to my baby shower? I hope you got the invite, also did you get the check I sent for the breastpump?

love

Definitely cream cheese! Although the peanut butter pie sounds interesting. . .and I definitely don't want to work out after eating something like that, thanks anyway Ben! Maybe I could just pop some kind of pill before I eat it?
Get back to me on that idea ;)

Hey little momma,
Can't wait to hug and babysit the Royal GrandTwins this Friday night while you kick it up with the Tri-folks. Martabooski, Beth, Natalie, Rosie and me (Gramma Pat) will be enforce and on duty to make sure the little guys get lots of attention and do not eat pennies from the floor. Oh, and get them to bed on time, of course.

Natalie thot you were talking about Thanksgiving Day for the pie...but you meant your Thanksgiving 'Eve' meal with your parents because you didn't get MY assignment yet, altho I have it done, need to send it out. (no worries, you're not supplying the turkey :).

So glad YOU started a blog. I want to know where to send photos of R and T so you can post them on your site....maybe email me since your cell is now defunct. Beth is bringing you a spare on Friday night (Nov. 21)....

Looks like your site is going to be popular with fam and friends...and maybe the only way we hear from you all at once like a shotgun blast. Hey, you're busy with the little kings.

Love you!
Gramma Pat

Strawberry Rhubarb sounds good but out of season. I am cannot decide on Pecan or Cheesecake. I have never made either and it seems like Cheesecake it could have the potential of being a disastrous.

Natalie I will be at your shower but may not be able to stay long because I have some plans with my mom a sisters that day to. I will for sure be there though.

Hurray for a phone. Thank you Beth. You how dependant you are on you phone until it has been missing for over a week.

love the blog - great idea. cheesecakes are pretty forgiving, just make sure you bake it in a bath. on the other hand, pecan pie is super easy and you can add chocolate to it - super yummy. which reminds me - i used to have a recipe for chocolate peanut butter pie from a miami restaurant famous for their desserts. i won't be able to find it before turkey day since I'm in FL, but maybe you can make it for ben's b-day.

Great grandma Rose enjoyed the photos and wants to work out an account at Walgreen's so you can upload them for printing at her local store.

have a great thanksgiving - you have much to be thankful for!!
